International Student Liaisons

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT LIAISONS

An International Student Liaison (ISL) is a vital link between the University and its community of international students. We help foster the success of international students, safeguard their welfare and create a fulfilling study-abroad experience.

Our Main duties include;

  • Serve as a welcoming and approachable resource, helping students with all facets of college life like academic standards, social integration, cultural changes and visa/immigration complications.
  • Advocate for, lend advice and connect to the appropriate resources/department to support international students.
  • Promote an inclusive and peaceful campus climate by facilitating cross-cultural interaction and understanding between all students.

Please contact us at ISL@newhaven.edu so we can best assist you!
