Election Day is on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Even though it’s a few months away, there are some deadlines coming up that those interested in casting their ballot should know about.
If you plan to vote in Connecticut…
- Are you registered to vote? Check here.
- Need to register?
- Online registration deadline: Friday, October 18
- Register by mail deadline: Must be postmarked by Friday, October 18

If you’re from another state but your current address is in CT while attending the University…
- Are you registered to vote? Check here.

- You must decide if you want to vote in your home state or in Connecticut. Find additional information, here.
Voting in a different town in your home state…
- If you’re from CT, but are living on (or near) campus, you may have the option to vote in the town you’re currently living in.

Do you need an absentee or mail-in ballot?

- For those not voting in CT, or from out of state, check your state’s rules, as guidelines may vary.
