Society for Experiential Education

Purpose

The purpose of the Society for Experiential Education (SEE) is to:

  • Create enthusiasm for research,
  • Encourage experience in the workplace,
  • Stimulate community engagement,
  • Promote cultural and global understanding,
  • and develop character in college students through experiential education.

 The Society for Experiential Education provides recognition for students who demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in experiential education.

Eligibility

Students: If a student has completed two or more experiences, is an enrolled student and has a GPA which is at or above the top 20% , they may be eligible for induction as a Society for Experiential Education member.

Administration/Faculty/Staff: A member of the administration, faculty, or staff of the University of New Haven may be inducted to active membership if he or she holds an Experiential Education Academy Certificate from the National Society for Experiential Education (NSEE).
