Anxiety Disorder Association of America (ADAA)

Association of Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD)

AHEAD sponsors numerous training programs, workshops, publications, and conferences for professional in the working in higher education with individuals with disabilities. http://www.ahead.org/

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD)

CHADD is a national organization with over 32,000 members and more than 500 chapters nationwide that provides support and information for parents of children with ADHD and adults with ADHD. http://www.chadd.org/

Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA)

LDA is the largest nonprofit volunteer organization advocating for individuals with learning disabilities.  LDA seeks to educate individuals with learning disabilities and their parents about the nature of the disabilities and inform them of their rights. https://ldaamerica.org/

National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD)

NCLD provides the latest information on learning disabilities and resources available to parents, professionals, and adults with learning disabilities. http://ncld.org/

International OCD Foundation (IOCDF)

The IOCDF is an international not-for-profit organization composed of people with OCD and related disorders, their families, friends, professionals, and other concerned individuals. www.ocfoundation.org/

National Depressive and Manic-Depressive Association (NDMDA)

The National DMDA’s mission is to educate patients, families, professionals and the public concerning the nature of depressive and manic-depressive illnesses as treatable medical diseases; to foster self-help for patients and families; to eliminate discrimination and stigma; to improve access to care; and to advocate for research toward the elimination of these illnesses. http://www.ndmda.org/

Project Endeavor is a program of CSD, funded by a two year contract with the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).   This program focuses on providing deaf and hard of hearing Americans with access to broadband or high speed internet through discounted internet service plans and internet devices.   Project Endeavor also provides an array of training materials and educational resources for deaf and hard of hearing people. 

Metro Taxi now offers four-passenger wheelchair-accessible taxis.  These taxis are available 24/7.  Please see the following poster and their website for additional details.
