University-Sponsored Travel Information and Policies
All employees engaging in University-sponsored travel must follow the policies and procedures listed on this page. Travelers must submit their requests no later than four (4) weeks before their proposed travel date.
1.) Review Travel Policies
First, read the University Travel Policy to determine if your travel request meets the requirements.
Note: Personnel in departments that conduct frequent travel such as Admissions and Advancement must speak with their supervisor and follow their normal travel procedures.
2.) Complete Travel Authorization Form
After reviewing the policy listed above, individuals must download the Travel Authorization Form (Excel document), complete it in its entirety, and obtain signature(s) of the traveler and all required approvers.

3.) Submit Your Travel Request For Approvals
To submit your Travel Authorization Form for necessary approvals, you must submit using the form linked below. The form provides instructions and acknowledgments of travel responsibilities and limitations of support for both domestic and international travel, and automatically routes for necessary approvals.
Submissions will be reviewed by the designated Vice President and/or Provost and the Business Office, and allows the University to be compliant with the Clery Act.

COVID-Related Considerations for Those Traveling
- Effective July 1, 2022, there are no longer COVID-related travel restrictions in place. If the analysis of current COVID data suggests it is appropriate, or if local, state, or federal guidance changes, the University may recommend changes to the travel policies. Updates will be communicated in a timely manner.
