Safe Zone Ally Program

• To understand the presence and experiences of GLBTQ students, faculty, and staff on campus and in our greater community 
• To understand how environment shapes our values and how we view/perceive others
• To obtain an understanding of homosexual identity development, reflect on this knowledge and learn how to apply it as an ally
• To obtain knowledge of local, state, and national resources for GLBTQ community members 
• To identify the responsibility of being an ally for students and understand the responsibility of other appropriate resources
• To obtain knowledge of resources to deal with potential students in crisis
