Changes to Healthcare or Dependent Care FSAs are allowed during open enrollment or mid-year with a qualifying event.

Changes to 403(b) deferrals can be made at any time directly through Fidelity at netbenefits.com or by calling 1-800-FIDELITY.

Changes to Health Savings Accounts can be made at any time through Benefitfocus.

Post Open Enrollment Information

As the new plan year begins July 1, 2023, note:

  • New plan year deductions are taken from your first pay in July.
  • Be sure to review your first pay in July to confirm deductions reflect your new plan year elections.
  • Notify officeofhumanresources@newhaven.edu with any questions on your new deductions no later than July 31, 2023.
  • Elections made during the open enrollment process are valid through June 30, 2024 unless you experience a qualifying life event. 
  • If you enrolled in the Health Savings Account for the first time, be sure to log into your Fidelity account through netbenefits.com to verify enrollment. Funding cannot be made until your account is confirmed in good standing.
